Guild history
From Jadestone Alliance
Contents |
THE EARLY DAYS
Jadestone Alliance was formed by a bunch of colleagues working at the Swedish game developer Jadestone Group. The founding members were all players from the early beta days and the guild has been in existence since the official launch of World of Warcraft.
NEXUS
In the spring of 2006 JSA joined the Nexus Alliance, a raiding alliance with the guilds Raging Fire and Order of the Storm Seekers. This alliance proved very strong with fully cleared instances such as Zul'Gurub, Ruins of Ahn'Qiraj, Molten Core, Blackwing Lair, Onyxia's Lair and bosses killed in both Naxxramas and Temple of Ahn'Qiraj.
BURNING CRUSADE
With the launch of The Burning Crusade in the beginning of 2007 the levelling race started again and not much raiding went down. In September 2007, after a few kills of Gruul, the guilds of the Nexus alliance decided to part ways and start raiding on their own.
THE GREAT DEPRESSION
With the Nexus alliance disbanded and a decrease in member activity JSA lost momentum, with little progression besides Magtheridon's Lair and Void Reaver to show during the winter. A decision was made in the spring of 2008 to try and find a new raiding partner to yet again see some proper progression.
FLEX
In the beginning of March 2008 (2008-03-05) JSA joined forces with the nice people of Flex and finally started some proper raiding again. The alliance has proven really strong and we have a number of successful kills in Serpentshrine Cavern, Hyjal Summit and Black Temple as proof!
WRATH OF THE LICH KING
With the advent of Wrath of the Lich King raiding activity went down a few notches (even if an almost full clear of BT was made thanks to the nice raid nerf Blizzard put in as a preparation for Wrath). Considering the decrease in raiding activity and the upcoming leveling frenzy JSA and Flex decided to part ways (as friends).
ELEMENT ZERO
During summer of 2009 JSA decided to invite some players from Element Zero to help fill our raids during the summer vacations. The cooperation proved very successful and resulted in many fresh boss kills.
STANDING STRONG ON OUR OWN
Since the beginning of November 2009 JSA is standing strong on it's own again.
